Here is an interesting view I saw while trimming this retainer. You can see the line between the two colors I used for this retainer. One way I try to save money, use just enough colored acrylic to cover the wires then switch to the cheaper clear acrylic to fill out the rest of the retainer. If you round this border out and pumice an polish, you won’t be able to tell what I did.
What do you guys and galls think if this strategy?

I’ve tried this before and it looks great! I also feel it makes the appliance stronger, as the colored polymer tends to be more flexible
Thats so true, the colored polymer is more flexible. Plus I cant seem to shine the colored polymer as well. But the clear acrylic I can get a great shine!
Hope you can see this. how is it that you can make a acrylic polymer lighter and shinier in color?
