For those of you that attended the Wire Bending 101 class at the DLAT spring conference in Las Colinas, Tx, this model might look familiar to you. It was included in the kit you recieved with a pre-bent wire already on it. It was the final goal of the whole “Wire Bending 101” experience. You were supposed to work your way through the worksheets (provided with the kit in the class and as download here on this site) and then by the time you were done with the worksheets you should have the skills necessary to tackle the model!
Well, I had already filmed this prior to the class that was in April. I had stashed away the footage on a external hard drive until I could fix the HD on my iMac. I wasn’t going to release it until I finished filming all the videos for the worksheets. Now I realize that I is going to take me a while to get through all of those. Plus I had many questions on my Youtube channel that this video could answer, so I went ahead and released it.
I was going to do a voice over to explain what I was doing, but with kids playing and screaming in the background I couldnt get it done. I also could not just lock the bedroom door while I did it because, a locked door is like a child magnet! They think there is treasure behiend the door all of a sudden and has to get to it immediately!
